Web PrinerDeck Suspended Access for Offshore Maintenance

Service

The Web PrinerDeck system is a lightweight, temporary suspended access platform installed using steel cables. It allows for fast setup and dismantling and is ideal for hard-to-reach areas.

The system is simple and efficient, composed of modular anchoring beams, fixing plates, aluminum floor panels, and carbon or stainless steel accessories. The floors are available in two versions—fully closed or grated—meeting different application needs. Quick-release safety clamps secure the platform to the tensioned cable.

Advantages

In all projects to date, Priner has achieved higher productivity in both installation and dismantling phases, reduced logistics costs, and minimized worker exposure to risk.
In the photos, you can see Web PrinerDeck being installed to provide underdeck access on an offshore platform located in the Campos Basin, Rio de Janeiro.

Solution

For this project, the design included 29 kg/m² of aluminum and steel materials, with one contact point every 12 m² and a five-person assembly team. A traditional scaffolding solution would have required twice the material weight per area, four times more contact points, a larger crew, and would not have met the client’s schedule.

Web PrinerDeck is a smart structural engineering access solution that delivers the best cost-benefit ratio for locations with limited access, weight restrictions, space constraints, or limited workforce availability.
