With over 40 years of experience in industrial maintenance and an established presence in the upstream and downstream segments, Priner once again stands out among the companies sponsoring CCIPRA – the International Congress on Corrosion, Integrity, Painting and Anticorrosive Coatings.

The event, taking place on November 11 and 12 in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, will feature a series of technical and commercial presentations. Priner will present “Non-Destructive Testing for Corrosion Detection and Assessment in Assets.”

The presentation will take place on November 12, 2026, at 11:40 a.m., and will last 20 minutes. It will be delivered by Leonardo Ramalho, Technical Director of Priner’s Integrity and Inspection Engineering Business Unit and an inspection professional certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API).

The presentation will explore the fundamentals, challenges and applications of non-destructive testing (NDT) in the assessment of industrial assets affected by corrosion. It will also address how inspection results contribute to asset integrity, risk management and informed decision-making regarding safety, maintenance and operational continuity.

The presentation will also discuss the capabilities, limitations and application criteria of conventional and advanced NDT techniques, taking into account different deterioration mechanisms and the specific characteristics of industrial equipment.
