The Priner Raiz (Priner Roots) Program has completed another class in Madre de Deus, in the state of Bahia. 28 young adults graduated with a 100% approval rate, all of them in the process of being hired for the position of Scaffolding Assembly Junior Technician under the Acelen contract.
More than a number, this class represents what the program was built to do: train young people in the communities where we operate with technical rigor and open a real door into the job market for them.
What is the Priner Raiz Program
Founded in 2005, the Priner Raiz Program has already trained more than one thousand participants across several regions of Brazil, in the disciplines of scaffolding assembly, industrial painting, and thermal insulation.
The program is led by Priner with the involvement of clients, community and labor associations, government agencies such as SINE and PAT, and partner NGOs.
The methodology covers training in four areas: behavioral, occupational health and safety, technical theory, and hands-on practice. Each stage is eliminatory, and throughout the entire process participants are guided, supported, and supervised so that what they learn translates into real outcomes in their professional lives.
To participate, young people must be between 18 and 25 years old, have completed secondary education, be first-time job seekers or have no more than six months of professional experience, and live in the area surrounding the contract where services will be performed.
The Madre de Deus class
The 2026 edition, carried out in partnership with Acelen, took place at the Madre de Deus Cultural Coordination Center, known as COCULT.
The program comprised 180 hours of training across modules covering institutional integration, occupational safety, scaffolding theory and practice, and a closing ceremony.
The ceremony brought together Priner leadership, Acelen representatives, the mayor of Madre de Deus, and members of local worker support associations, reflecting the impact the program has beyond the company’s own walls.
The event featured the presence of Vitor Cruz, Micael Santos, and Vagner Conceição, three alumni of previous Raiz Program editions who are now permanent Priner employees, and who returned to the ceremony to address the graduating class.
A commitment that renews itself
The Raiz Program expresses a conviction that lies at the heart of how we operate: professional development.
Every young person trained is a professional ready for the job market, a family with income, and a community with more opportunity.
For us, it is also an employee shaped by the standards and values we have carried since the beginning.
